| Guitars & Amps My main guitar is the HoneyBurst Les Paul. It's a stock Les Paul except for the Sperzel Locking Tuners I had put on. I also have an Ernie Ball/Music Man Silhouette I like alot. Live I usually use just one guitar because it's easier to deal with amp settings and stuff. Speaking of amps, I'm using a Marshall TSL 602. It's a 2x12 combo. Great amp. All the things I need, none of the stuff I don't (except for the direct out maybe...terrible things those are) For acoustic stuff, I have a Tacoma Steel string (ER 19 C) , and a Takamine Classical (nylon string). I recently picked up a Marshall AS 50 Acoustic Soloist so I can use the acoustics out on gigs. Effects Effectwise, I have been trying to simplify. I have been using a Boss ME 50 multi-effect unit, which is nice because it's not too over the top with gadgets, but it simplifies my signal chain. Mostly I like chorus, delay and a few special effect things, and with the Boss, I don't have to patch all those separate boxes together. I do like my stomp boxes though and have another pedal board with a Vow Wah, Dunlop Univibe, a Dan-Echo, and whatever else I stick in there. Maybe an Octaver or an MXR Blue Box for fun! I also use an Alesis Midiverb in the effects loop on the Marshall. I just use it for delay on the distortion channels. |
